And again it went wrong...Submitted by Nefertiti on Tue, 06/05/2007 - 15:51.
![]() NOS, Monday June 4th. "And again it went wrong...", that's how this item begins. Today the demonstrators wanted to protest against the asylum policy in Europe but all the news talks about is autonomous people, dressed in black and unrecognizable, who are carrying on war against the police. Lots of war images. About the riots on Saturday they say that the police was hardly to be seen to avoid provoking. But when the riots still broke out they reacted with great display of power. It seems something the police would have declared. No activist is asked something.

A true battleSubmitted by Nefertiti on Mon, 06/04/2007 - 14:08.
![]() NOS NL 1, Sunday June 3rd. Again this is a very one-sided view of what's happening in Rostock. It begins with footage of a burning car while the voice over is telling us that inhabitants of Rostock are gazing at the havoc made by demonstrators. "The first serious demonstration has turned out to be a true battle." And at the end: "The police is holding into account that things will get out of hand next Wednesday."
